Shaping Vision with Leadership
Leadership at Brightstars Publishing & Media begins with its founder, Manuel Iglesias, Founder & CEO, whose editorial experience and cultural vision define the identity of the press. His role is to ensure that every book produced under Brightstars reflects the highest stylistic, technical, and legal standards, while honoring the author’s creative voice.
But true leadership is never individual. Brightstars Publishing & Media extends its identity through the authors who bring their works to life under our imprint. Each writer represents a voice of quality and authenticity, and together they form the cultural backbone of our editorial project.
In this way, leadership is shared. It flows from the vision of its founder to the diversity of its authors, uniting professional expertise with creative expression. This balance ensures that Brightstars Publishing & Media is not only a publisher, but a community of voices committed to excellence, cultural value, and trust.
Founder & CEO

Manuel Iglesias Pérez
is the Founder and CEO of Brightstars Publishing & Media, an Independent Hybrid Publisher based in South Florida. With a career that bridges publishing, editing, and media, he has built a reputation for precision, cultural vision, and editorial excellence.
Before founding Brightstars, Manuel worked as a Senior Editor at NBC Universal/Telemundo, where his editorial work earned professional recognition, including an Emmy Award.
Trained in Havana and shaped by years of experience in the publishing and media industries, he developed a distinctive approach that combines literary sensitivity with technical and stylistic rigor.
Under his leadership, Brightstars Publishing & Media has launched critical editions, poetry collections, and collaborative projects with emerging authors. He is also preparing the first critical Spanish edition of El Kybalion, a landmark project that reflects his commitment to intellectual depth and editorial refinement.
Passionate about integrating literature with the visual arts, he has brought works by Cuban painters into Brightstars’ book covers, creating a unique editorial identity where art and literature converge.
For Manuel Iglesias, publishing is not only a business but a cultural mission: to transform manuscripts into refined editions that reach readers with dignity, trust, and lasting value.
